FAQ

Everything you need to know about working with 1611 Press.

General

1611 Press is a publishing service built specifically for pastors and Christian leaders. We help you turn your sermons, manuscripts, and outlines into professionally published books available on Amazon—fast, affordable, and without the complexity of traditional publishing.

1611 AD is the year the King James Bible was first printed. We chose the name because we believe in making the spoken word accessible in written form—just as that translation made Scripture accessible to everyday people.

We serve pastors, priests, ministry leaders, and Christian teachers across all denominations—Baptist, nondenominational, Pentecostal, Methodist, Catholic, and beyond.

The Process

3-5 weeks from the time we receive all your materials. That's significantly faster than traditional publishing, which can take 12-18 months.

It depends on the package:

  • Manuscript to Press: Completed manuscript in Word format
  • Sermon to Page: 10 sermon recordings or transcripts
  • Outline to Press: 10-chapter outline with key points

All packages require a short bio, headshot, and book description.

Complete control. You get your own dashboard to track progress, review the manuscript, choose cover designs, and approve the interior layout. Nothing publishes until you say it's ready.

Pricing

  • Manuscript to Press: $495 digital / $895 with print
  • Sermon to Page: $895 digital / $1,495 with print
  • Outline to Press: $1,495 digital / $1,795 with print

Print packages include 10 author copies.

We're actual Born Again Christians help Christians. We offer flat-rate packages instead of itemizing every service. Streamlined process, same quality.

No. The price you see is the price you pay. Everything listed in the package is included.

Authorship

No. Ghostwriting is when someone else does the thinking. We translate your spoken word to written word. Your sermons are your theology, your illustrations, your voice. You review every word. Your name is on the cover because your mind is in the book.

Yes. Paul used scribes—Tertius wrote Romans (16:22), Silvanus wrote 1 Peter. Paul dictated; the scribe wrote. We call them Paul's letters because the ideas were his. Same principle here.

You do. 100%. This is your intellectual property. We're a service provider, not a publisher that takes ownership.
